Math Classroom Decor (Math Bulletin Board Borders)

Saturday, August 3, 2019

A couple days ago, I went to Target to look for classroom borders. If you are anything like me then you absolutely hate putting up new borders every year! Sometimes the border selection is very limited and I don't always like the color or look of the borders. Then I started to think, what if I made my own borders?! And magic! I did it! And boy oh boy, they look amazing!  Pictures seriously don't do it justice but these are the cutest math borders!

There are SO many things to love about these borders.  First, I made two versions: (1) Black and white, and (2) Color.  Think about the possibilities! You could have your students cut and color the borders during the first week of school.  If you don't want to take any class time for the borders, you can: (1) print the black and white version on colored paper, or (2) print the colored version.

I used the second version (color) and printed from my personal printer.  The colors are so bright and pop!

I laminated the borders so that I can keep them looking great during the school year, and use them year after year.

There are 36 borders in total (9 bottom, 9 top, 9 left, and 9 right).

Each border has a various 7th grade math concept on it.  You do not have to use all of the borders. You can also use them "reminders" in students math interactive notebooks.

For the size of the borders, there are 3 borders that fit on a 8.5" x 11" paper.  If you want to increase the size, you can change your printer settings to make the borders larger by a certain percent.

Again, there are so many possibilities.  You will love how colorful and useful these borders are. You can purchase these borders by clicking HERE.
