Transformations Graphing Activity (Reflections, Rotations, Translations)

This is a great activity for students learning about transformations: rotations, reflections, dilations, and translations. Students are going to graph a football. The football will be rotated, reflected, dilated, and translated.

Students will:

• Graph coordinates on a given plane.
• Translate the original figure to create a new figure.
• Rotate the original figure to create a new figure.
• Reflect the original figure to create a new figure.
• Dilate the original figure by creating a figure twice the size of the original figure.
