This resource is a fun cut-and-paste activity on translating a verbal phrase into a numerical expression. There are 2 versions: (1) not color-coded and (2) color-coded. The first version is harder while the second version is easier. You can decide which one works best for your classroom. You can also differentiate to meet your student's needs.
