This activity has 16 cards on volume and surface area. The three-dimensional figures included are: (1) cylinder, (2) cone, (3) rectangular prism, and (4) sphere. The cards include 4 definitions, 4 diagrams, 4 volume formulas and 4 surface area formulas. Students will match these cards according to the three-dimensional figure. This activity works well in groups of 2-4 and can be laminated so that you can use it year after year. You could also have students glue it into their interactive notebooks.
