Students will be using the distributive property to simplify algebraic expressions. After simplifying 16 expressions, students will cut out 16 triangles. They will glue the triangles according to their simplified expression. After gluing all the triangles, a hidden message will be revealed that says "YOU ARE AWESOME!"
This activity is perfect for 6th Grade Math, 7th Grade Math, or any other class learning about the distributive property.
