Students will be solving 16 problems on volume and surface area. The three-dimensional figures include a cone, cube, cylinder, sphere, rectangular prism, rectangular pyramid, triangular prism, and an isosceles triangular prism. Students will then color in their answers to reveal a mystery picture. This is great practice for any class learning how to solve problems involving volume and surface area because it also allows students to self-assess themselves. If their answer is not in the mystery picture, then they know that they need to go back and check their answer.

Also included is a formula cheat sheet that includes all of the volume and surface area formulas for the three-dimensional figures. You can have students use this cheat sheet to help them calculate the volume and surface area. The cheat sheet looks great in interactive notebooks.
