This resource is a fun cut and paste activity on translating a verbal phrase into a numerical expressions. There are 2 versions: (1) not color coded and (2) color coded. The first version is harder while the second version is easier. You can decide which one works best for your classroom. You can also differentiate to meet your students needs.
