Coordinate Plane (Capture the Gold) Activity

If you have been following my TPT store then you know that I have a lot of fun new activities!  One of my favorite new ones is on the Coordinate Plane.

In this activity, students will be helping Leprechaun's find their gold by plotting points in the coordinate plane. After plotting points, there will be polygons around the gold. Students will calculate the area of each polygon in the coordinate plane.

There are 2 versions: (1) 1st Quadrant Only and (2) All 4 Quadrants. Also, color and B&W is included.

My students loved this activity because they enjoyed plotting the points and seeing how each Leprechaun caught their gold! I hope your students enjoy it too!
