Solving One-Step Equations

Students will be constructing a foldable on solving one-step equations. There foldable has three layers: (1) Example, (2) Your Turn, and (3) Steps. There are many options on how you can have students construct the foldable. You can provide students with the foldable already filled out with answers, or you can give them a blank template and have them fill out the foldable. Also, you can mix and match layers so that one layer already has answers and then the next layer needs to be filled out.

Statistics Foldable

This foldable is on statistics: mode, mean, median, range, minimum, maximum, upper quartile, and lower quartile. This is a great activity for any grade learning about statistics especially 6th and 7th grade. Students will love creating these foldables and it gives them a great tool to use to study!  Students can glue the foldable into their interactive notebooks or on construction paper!

Students will create a foldable then answer questions on the foldable. Students will construct a dot plot, histogram, and box plot. In addition, students will be giving the definitions and values for mode, mean, median, range, minimum, upper quartile, and lower quartile.

Lastly, I even included a blank template of the foldable so that you can decide if you want to give another problem or have students create their own!

Clothing Items

My sister and I absolutely love creating teacher resources (I'm sure you noticed from all of my other posts!).  Well, we have decided that we wanted to expand into clothing items!  We have searched throughout the internet and didn't find shirts that we thought were cute for teachers.  Hence, we have created some!  Also, since we are both mothers, we have decided to try out some baby items.  Check out some of our clothing items below.  If interested, you can purchase these items by CLICKING HERE

Also, you can decide if you want to give the foldable with the answers already given or a blank template so that students can fill in the answers.

This foldable goes over divergent, convergent, and transform plate boundaries.
