Mitosis Puzzle Activity

I decided to complete my Mitosis puzzle activity with help from my husband :)

Cut and paste activity

Students will need scissors

Color the puzzle pieces

You can skip coloring if you don't have colored pencils

After coloring cut out all puzzle pieces

Puzzle pieces all cut out

Students will need to determine where to place the puzzle pieces

Each phase has a diagram

In addition, each phase has facts

Gluing down the puzzle pieces

My husband helped me with this activity :)

All done gluing!!!

Finished activity!

Conclusion: This was a great activity!  My husband even enjoyed the activity.  You can have students work individually or in pairs.  It is a great hands on activity.  After students finish gluing down the puzzle pieces, they will reflect upon their learning.

  1. I am a math resource instructor, working with grades 6-8. My students include ESS students and students with lower math skills. Sometimes , students who just don't like math. I am looking for a way to get as much of your product with out repeats. Please help in deciding what to purchase. Foldables, interactive notebooks, cutouts, for all three grades. I sometimes have the same students for all three years.
