Math Coloring Worksheets Bundle (Middle School and High School)

Photosynthesis vs Cellular Respiration in Google Slides

I have taken my popular puzzle activity on photosynthesis vs cellular respiration and converted it into Google Slides.

This is a very engaging and fun activity for any students learning about photosynthesis and cellular respiration. Students will be moving puzzle pieces according to where they belong.

Also, students will be placing puzzle pieces to form the equations for photosynthesis and cellular respiration.

Students will write a reflection on what they learned from the activity.

This activity is best for classrooms that are 1:1 with technology. Students would need to have access to a Google account so that they can open this activity in Google Slides.

You can watch my video about this activity below:

Systems of Equations Wheel Foldable

My students have started to learn systems of equations and what better way than to have them create a wheel foldable!

This wheel foldable is amazing!!!  My students absolutely loved constructing the foldable and appreciate that all of the information is in one spot!

The foldable goes over the 3 methods in solving systems of equations: graphing, substitution, and elimination. The foldables includes the steps and an example for each method. In addition, the foldable goes over the 3 possible solutions: one solution, no solution, and infinitely many solutions. There is a visual for each possible solution (graph) and a description.

There are two versions: (1) with everything already printed and (2) blank so that students can write in the answers.
You can decide if you would like to use this foldable as a handheld study tool or have students glue it in their interactive notebooks.

Mitosis Puzzle Activity in Google Slides

I have converted my most popular seller into Google Slides.  This is my mitosis puzzle activity.

At my school, my students are 1:1 with technology.  Each student has ipads or chromebooks.  It was super easy to upload the file onto my Google Classroom and make a copy for each student.  You can see a video I made on my activity below!

Students will be moving puzzle pieces according to their phase.  Students will write a reflection on what they learned from the activity.

Heart Slope Puzzle on Google Slides (Valentine's Edition)

I have been asked if I would convert my activities to Google Slides.  I have converted my first activity and I am loving it!

At my school, my students are 1:1 with technology.  Each student has ipads or chromebooks.  It was super easy to upload the file onto my Google Classroom and make a copy for each student.  My students LOVED this activity and were engaged the entire period!  I was even asked by multiple students if I could do more activities like this one.  You can see a video I made on my activity below!

Students will be solving problems on puzzle pieces and place them according to their slope. In addition, students will be examining two points that have a slope of zero and undefined. They will make the connections on how to determine if two points have a zero slope or undefined slope. Lastly, students will draw an example of a positive, negative, zero, and undefined slope. They will write a reflection on what they learned from the activity.

Kindergarten Math and Literacy Bundle

I have started a Kindergarten store!!! I wanted to bring my wheel foldables to the younger grades and I am SO excited that I have some completed for Kindergarten.  My goal is to have lots of wheel foldables for K-5 by this summer.  Check out some pictures of my wheel foldables below (My daughter completes one of my wheel foldables in the pics).  You can also check out my Kindergarten store by CLICKING HERE.

Mitosis Puzzle

My most popular item in my store is my mitosis puzzle.  This activity is very engaging and super fun for students! Students can color, cut, and glue the puzzle pieces according to their phase.

I have had lots of great feedback on my mitosis puzzle but I have had some teachers say that cutting out the puzzle pieces was too time consuming.  Hence, I updated the activity to include two versions!  The first version is still puzzle pieces (use if you have plenty of time) and the second version has square puzzle pieces (way easier to cut!).

This activity is great because you can laminate the puzzle pieces and use them year after year!  This year, I decided to try the easier version and laminate my puzzle pieces.  You can have students color their puzzle pieces one day, then laminate them after school.  The next day, you can have students cut out their laminated puzzle pieces and play!  This would be a lot of work but SO worth it!  You can also just laminate a class set that is not colored. …
